Angela's Shortbread Recipe


1 Cup softened butter
1 Cup powdered sugar
1 egg yolk
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 Cups Flour

Beat butter, sugar, egg yolk together. Stir salt and flour together, then stir into butter mixture. Pat into glass pan. Slice patted dough into small squares and prick with fork. Bake for 25 min at 350 degrees Fahrenheit

Your shortbread looks great, nice texture! You must have tried your recipe a few times to get such great results?

I've been making this almond shortbread a lot lately- http://bit.ly/98ujKW - my most recent batch was about an hour ago, the ground almonds really make the difference!
